Fuck positivity

I started reading "Notes from underground" by Fyodor Dostoyevsky. I read just the first paragraph and I was like , fuck positivity. I felt like saying I feel you man! And let's just celebrate Absurdness and negativeness a little bit. Why not ? What's wrong with negativeness? Don't we all feel it throughout our life's ?

And then there was this chapter called "Pain" in the "The Prophet" by Kahlil Gibran, he says the same but in different words on different context. He is asking us to embrace the pain like you do with everything else in your life. And pain is the one which will lead you to understanding yourself.
